Tour Plan

Day 1: Luxor – Valley of the Kings, Karnak, and Luxor Temples

Begin in Luxor with an early pick-up and head to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings. Visit some of the most significant royal tombs and hear stories of Egypt’s ancient rulers from your expert guide. Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural marvel nestled against the cliffs. Continue to the East Bank to see Karnak Temple, Egypt’s largest temple complex, and Luxor Temple, where statues and inscriptions stand as tributes to the New Kingdom’s powerful pharaohs. In the evening, drive to Edfu for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Arrival in Aswan

After breakfast, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples and a site dedicated to the falcon-headed god. Then continue to Kom Ombo, where you’ll explore the unique twin temples dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Each side of Kom Ombo reflects the dual worship of these two gods, showcasing fascinating carvings and ancient medicinal artifacts. In the afternoon, proceed to Aswan, where you’ll check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Abu Simbel – Colossal Temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari

Rise early for a guided trip to Abu Simbel, where the colossal statues of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari are carved into the cliffs overlooking Lake Nasser. Explore the interiors of these monumental temples, renowned for their alignment with the sun on specific dates, and admire the intricate reliefs that celebrate Egypt’s military victories. Return to Aswan, where your tour concludes with a comfortable transfer back to Luxor.
